Bryan 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2007 I was just wondering if anyone else saw the Monster Fish documentry on the National Geographic channel. If not you missed one the ballsiest fly fisherman I have ever seen. Dude goes 40 miles out into the ocean and hooks a 100 hundred poung sailfish and reels it in on a fly rod and reel. But that isn't the amazing thing, he was on an INFLATABLE 10FT KAYAK!!! :bugeyes: He gets the head of the fish on his lap removes the hook and releases it. alexsalmon 0 Report post Posted March 3, 2007 Well, he didnt hook the fish in the raft, he hooked it from a big boat, htne hoped into the boat, and while fighting it the boat was only 50 feet away.
