conehead 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2007 Very nice, Your looking at a lot of action on a sunny spring day. I like the way you cupped out the mouth, that thing should pop the whole lake awake. Conehead
Blueman89 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2007 Looks good. I would also try turning the body over for a few( put the top part of the lip under the eye). I think that would make it a good diver.
sniksoh 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2007 Very nice. Please keep posting these, so I keep getting reminded to try one out. What glue do you use to glue the foam together? well right now i am just cutting out foam circles and then glueing them together with super glue...there is another way that you can use ...get some of that spray adhesive (3M super 77 is one), i just bought a generic brand cause 3m stuff is kinda expensive. thewn you just get foam sheets and spray them and glue tham all together and than punch out the cylindars with sharpened metal tubing or you can buy a set of gasket punches for the cutting. but it requires a drill press...i am expirimenting with just the tubing and a hammer (i read this in a fly tying article). heres a link that blueman89 gave me that should help every one: "dremel bugs"

sniksoh 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2007 that size was 9, 2mm sheets, glued together so...that would make it 18 mm...it about an inch a 3/4 long and a half an inch tall
