DrTomas 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 BLOOD PHEASANT (genus Ithaginis) One species: Blood Pheasant (I. cruentus) I used the classification from this site as it is mostly the same one most salmon fly tyers are familiar with. it is also an excellent resource: http://www.gbwf.org/ ok i have the subgroups set up and i will start adding the photos. that will likely take me most of the next 24 hours so this will be an ongoing work in progress. replies can be made now if need be. thanks for holding off while i worked on it. i have 2/3rds of the pics uploaded now, but my camera battery ran low and i hadda recharge it, so the others will come later this week. the links are acting funny. they all work, but for some reason 2 or 3 will sometimes not load, and it appears random, so just refresh if a link doesn't work and you should see the pic. if i can figure out how to thumbnail these i will, as it will take less memory to load this thread then. Tom PS. i hope this is what you all wanted and it helps you to see the skins/feathers. eventually i will have higher quality and resolution photos on John McLain's website, as i have been promising him that i would do this for years.
