Inconnu 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 I did my duty, but I am amazed and a little dismayed at the lack of ladies filling it out. I know it is a male dominated sport but surely there must be more than 1 here?
stonefly1 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 May be a little late in doing the survey, but got my info in. Been busy slaying spring trout in Montana.....that is with a guide and without. Will post a report upon my return next week.
bowfin47 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 Alex C. A lot of us "old farts", I mean "seasoned fly tyers", just lurk in the shaddows. Bowfin47
Guest Report post Posted April 4, 2007 Interesting the diversity in the years tying. A well rounded group. I’d tell you how much I spent the first couple of years tying. But, I have a wife and that’s not public knowledge.

gadabout 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2007 I also had a problem with the "How Many Weeks a Year" question. What does this really mean? I fish a day at a time, for at least 75% of the year.
Guest Report post Posted April 8, 2007 gadabout, One week would equal 7 days...
Vickie Eagle Elk 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2007 Hi everyone! I just filled out the survey..very interesting. I'm supprised that I'm female number 2 I know there aren't a lot of us but I thought there would be more.... I guess I'm lucky because I personally know more than just 2 women fly fishers (and tyers). My husband and I both spend a lot on tying materials that's the downside of both of us enjoying this, it costs at least twice as much And we won't even talk about Rods reels etc... :yahoo: fishing season is here!!! :yahoo: VEE
