Bugsy 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 A new addition to the fly pattern database has been submitted by Bugsy: Lemire's Fall Caddis
Bugsy 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2007 This is a Harry Lemire pattern taken from Trey Combs Steelhead Fly Fishing. I can't help but like the bugginess. I don't know if the midwest steelheaders on this forum fish damp or waking flies much, but thought it would nevertheless be of interest.

flyDology 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2007 Ive got a dozen in my working steelhead box. I will be using them in a few more weeks. Nice tie BTW
willowhead 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2007 FANTASTIC tye.......just beautiful.......specially on a Salmon hook. A bit surprised you didn't put antenna......not that it's at all nessessary.........next time you do one for a plate/shadow box, i bet you will, lol. That body shape is just tremendous.......i don't doubt you even have the rear end fatter than the front, just like a real caddis. Love to watch that fly tyed. Superb job. mark
Shaq 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2007 catching a head on that would be like a dream, thanks
kodiaksalmon 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Looks nice. I had a big 'ol natural caddis land on my hand tonight. This is a pretty nice representation. But from Harry Lemire, would you expect less? Busgsy-nicely tied. Jeff
Bugsy 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2007 Thanks everyone. Flies like this are fun to tie...they don't need to look "perfect" (whatever that is), just balanced. So, I'm still unsure...do any of you GL steelheaders get surface action? :dunno:
