The feather wing are Vulterine feathers and the hackle is Cobalt feathers that are also on Vulterine Fowl bird (http://castlearms.com/vulterine.html ). I have never seen a feather tyed on a tube but this works as long as it put on right. If not the tube rotates continuesly if not but correctly on the tube... pallagust 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Hi John... Yes this is Vulterine Guniea Fowl ( Acryllium vulturinum ) with Jungle Cock as sides. I normally tie them on a 8 - 10 cm tubes. Body is black icelandic wool and a silver ribbing. I always use plastic because I strip the tube fast on the surface... I haven't tried to tie the Elver on heavy tube...
