Another Batis nymfs

Since I posted the "experiment" inverted Baetis nymf I thought I might aswell post some of the ones I normally tie and fish with aswell

 

This tied to mimic the Baetis Rhodani, the most common mayfly species in sweden, 10-12 mm long.

Size 12 hook, CN Nymf skin body, CDC gills , golden pheasant tail legs and varnished raffia wingbud.

Hey Ulf...Looking good! Damn good! The body glows...is that the photo lighting or the materials you used?

 

That will catch some fish for sure...Thanks for posting.

Well, it's the photo that makes it look like it glows :)

 

First big trout trip next weekend, during the green drake hatches!! :D
