nomad 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2007 Lets get a crayfish swap going, just in time for fall smallies. Any crayfish pattern, any size, all standard swap rules apply. The due date is Aug 18, so reply with an "Im in" and lets get started. I will be tying the Sugar Creek Crawdad. 1.juice-received 2.thebone54 3.alexsalmon-received 4.riffleriversteelheadslayer-received 5.j.z-received 6.Stony 7.Iowaflyguy-received 8.Don Stracener-received 9.Chrisfish-received 10.dsaavedra-received 11.jereme 12. juice 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2007 I'm In..... I promised myself that I would stay swapping the whole year, to get some practice and learn some new patterns. I've never tyed any crayfish but I would love to learn. With an August 18th. deadline it should give me plenty of time to find my pattern and start tying. Thanks for opening this one NOMAD. :headbang: juice
xspook2158 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2007 May I ask the rule of a fly swap in this room? Do all the flies we send have to be of the same hook size and same material composition. Or can we send different fly ideas related to the pattern? Also how many do we need to tye and send? Do they have to be presantaion quality flies or are just good ole working tyies ok? I would like it better to be counted in, instead of being counted out. Jeff

nomad 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2007 Hey xspook, yes all the flies have to same size and material, and you would need to send 12 if this swap fills up. Working class flies would be just fine.
