With this one soak the fly 10 min before you use it.

 

The tail is weighted, and the front body has float foam to get the fly standing up on it's tail.

 

Everyone's fly looks great, it will be fun trying them out.

do you guys think its a problem that my fly is tied claws first hook down? (i dont tie craws very often :dunno: )

whats that made out of anyway? it looks like you shaved a deer hide or something like that??? :blink: i'd like to get a recipe or possible set of instructions for that!

The top of the fly and the claws are made from Ultra Swede.

 

I'll work on getting a receipe together.

 

Got another 5 flies with claws in place this morning, as you might guess this pattern takes some time to tie.

and riffle, thats what i was goin for, the walking motion, that way if a fish saw it they wouldnt think it was threatening and would eat it. but what about snags?

your very welcome and I know personally that both of them will work in bellville lake I use to fish it all the time when I lived on Riggs road fish them on the east side of haggerty road lol :yahoo: thanks for hosting :headbang:

I know where yuo are talking about, I do pretty well in the river also. Lots of smallies in the 1-2 pound range.
