Yellow and Yellow Spider

Recommended Posts

Thanks guys. Letumgo, I used a hen hackle which is pretty easy to double over and then wrap so it sweeps back without having to wrap back over the stem.

Kevin Compton the hooks is a size 10 Fulling Mill 31530 (Competition Heavyweight).

Mtn,

Very well tied softhackle ,this will work on most of the streams and the Delaware River for lil yellow stoneflies, too bad all i have is mustad pre china hooks, and daiichi 1530's . Great job. Softhackles have been a regular staple on the Lehigh River (my home river) as well as the Pocono and North Central Pennsylvania streams. Im looking foward to more soft hackles.

Kevin, I had a look on the Fulling Mill website and I can't find a barbless model, I usually just pinch down the barb with some pliers.

Thanks Chris, yep its persalls. Its the lighter yellow rather than the darker shade.
