Philly 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2007 Another option is to check out a catalog like Barlow's or Jann's Netcraft that sell the makings for spinner bait skirts. I just checked Barlow's and they have three different skirts with orange tips.
bowfin47 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 My original orange-tipped chartreuse silicon legs came from Barlows. They were bass spinner skirt material, but they came in a "mixed" skirt" bunch with just a few "tipped" legs in each bunch. In order to dye my own legs, I’ve tried several different markers, but the ink just "balls-up" on the leg material, and that that does stick, washes off pretty quickly. Which is why I was hoping that another tyer had experience coloring silicon leg materials. Thanks, Bowfin47
