Squirrelly Nymph (Whitlock Variant)

Recommended Posts

Fred - Yes, the photo was taken on my deck railing in natural sunlight. My deck has a large shade tree near it, so the light is softened (shaded). I took the photo with my camera (Pentax Optio W30) in macro mode. I do not know what shutter speed/aperture settings were used (I let the camera pick those), but they may be listed in the photo properties. I hope this answers your question.

Ray

EDIT (Adding camera settings to this post):

Focus length = 10.5 mm

Exposure Time = 1/160th sec (0.006 sec)

Aperture = f/7.4

ISO 64

Ray,

Thanks for info on you camera, that seals it,,,I have been considering the Pentax W30 for some time. Especially since I fell in last Sunday!!!!

My first impression was that you used a DSLR by Cannon or Nikon with special close-up macro lens.

Regards,

Fred Krow
