T-Bart 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2007 Hey, new to the forum and wanted some advice. I'm in Houston, TX and I get a lot of luck on muddler minnows for big bass. I was wondering if anyone could explain how to spin deer hair for muddlers, I'm not sure how. Also, should I use bucktail or body hair? Thanks, T-Bart

dsaavedra 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2007 dont use body hair or bucktail. use belley hair. belley hair is the coarsest (thickest) and is the best and easiest to spin. its naturally white, but for that reason its easy to dye and comes in many dyed colors. if you neeed that natural brown, then go with body hair but make sure its coarse (thick). NEVER NEVER NEVER use bucktail for spinning.
