Piker

Recommended Posts

I have some more quills on th way thank god...the white I have is too low on the feather an so is very soft with a tendency to roll an do all sorts of funky stuff. It drove me nuts last night trying to wing a few of these that I went to bed and left them until today. Finally got a wing that will work on this tasty little pattern. I suspect that this will do quite well with the brookie population, and in a smaller size would likely be a killer panfish fly ;)

Beautiful fly, Mike!!! I was a bit surprised by the fly when I opened the post. When I read the name "Piker", I was expecting to see a big meaty fly for pike fishing. I wonder how this pattern got it's name...

I agree with you, the brook trout and panfish are going to love this pattern!!!

Please keep 'em coming Mike. ;)
