Guest Report post Posted January 2, 2008 You say 'Hurray' and 'Thank the Lord'. Marabou has a way, being very soft, of 'finding it's way' around the hook. You now have a 'fly' that has motion and undulates and does not foul the hook (very often). For only few wraps of feather you now have a fly that is long and sexy. It is easy to combine colours. I have tied some Gartside Soft Hackles which are basically the same and they work fine. Mini-jigs were formerly tied with bucktail that was longer than the hook (and not as undulating) so what is the concern? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
