That is a really beautiful fly. Very well done. I am envious of the way you get the wood duck to lie flat against the wing. How do you do that?

'The Fly Dresser's Guide' (A&C Black, first published in 1952 - same as Pryce Tannatt as it happens) - it's the big one (almost A4 and 1"+ thick) with the red cloth cover (or a magenta and white dust cover and a picture of a Jock Scott on the front) - has a fair number of interesting patterns in it that I've not seen elsewhere (Norsk Lures, Primsickles, Skelton Beedles etc plus Black Rover, Blue Rover, a Red Rover which is very different etc) - comes up a lot on eBay and anglebooks.com
