If I'm not mistaken........

It does look a bit suspect to me. Probably a super deal even if it is turkey. Would make a good sub.

JAMES

IT SAYS ... BITS OF FEATHERS MISSING FROM THE TIPS...

IT SURE LOOKS LIKE FLORICAN TO ME AND FOR A GREAT PRICE YOU MAY BE ABLE TO USE SOME OR A LOT OF IT...

THERE WAS A LOT OF FLORICAN/TURKEY/PEACOCK WHATEVER WITH RAZORED OR TRIMMED EDGES USED BY THAT INDUSTRY

THAT WAS ACCEPTED PRACTICE FOR HATS AND ASSESSORIES TO MAKE THEM "BALANCED"

GOOD LUCK

(AND I'M NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU OFF SO I CAN GET IT)

It would definitely be worth the price it's got at the moment. If not good enough for exhibition flies, still can use it for fishing flies.

Royce-I believe there is a sub-species of the Florurkey called Turican. They were bred for their large breasts! PaulR ps:looks like a nice piece but be careful if the tips are cut as the lower fibres are not a bright.
