By far Frances tube 1" - RED - Killer in Atlantic salmon. Also German Snælda brass tube 1". but from this list the Cascade. Unbelievable fly!

The easy answer is " the one tied to the end of your leader and being in the water"

 

I think the fliy that have caught most Atlantic salmon for me is Green Highlander.

 

On the the picture are a few of the different flies that have giving me Atlantic salmon.

The one in the bottom is the remains of a Green Highlander after catching four in a row.
