Guest Report post Posted February 11, 2008 Intruders are great. Been tying them for a few years now. They are an awesome fly. Nice thing is, like all tying, you can be creative with a pattern. I have the original recipe for the intruder, but never use it. I improvise. Made it my own. Looks similar, but I made substitutions here and there. Mine have worked just as well (I tie mine on tubes). Plus, you can vary up the colors. The ones I tie in pink have been hot for salmon. Think they give better movement then most shrimp imitations.
