I get my porcupine guard hair from road kill. Much cheaper than buying it, but just make sure you stop to 'harvest' the materials far enough away from your house so the people driving by don't know you . . . .

Otherwise they stop to ask you "What's for dinner?"

Haha! Well, since we don't even have Porcupine here in sweden I have no option but buying mine!

 

I did one of these in size 18 aswell, not to satisfied with it but I post a photo anyway

Here's a shot from underneath, the CDC dubbing doesn't show that well, I think I could easily make it thicker around the legs to gain some more floating. I will also try with a CDC underwing for the faster streams.

materials page.

 

When I have used him I have found his quality and

service to be good.
