Hi!

Here come a Dusty Miller from my vice, tied on Daiichi double hook size 6.

Nicely done fly. I try to get a smaller ostrich herl so that the butt is a little more visable but this fly has been tied very well. I've got some 20 year old varigated french tinsel that has that "turn" to it that I cherish just for Dusty's.

Nice Dusty Miller :thumbup: . One of my favourite "old" flies. Since I´m a tube freak I´ve tried several times to make a tube version of Dusty but they've all looked like :poop:

 

I guess some patterns does not translate well into tubes.

 

Keep up the good tying you'll get to use your flies soon :headbang:

Beautiful Dusty Miller, Miche! I've never tied on the double hooks before (I don't think they are legal for fishing with around here), but I really like the way they look. Great job, as always.
