hair stacker help

Recommended Posts

Yes, make sure that the hair is clean and that you clean any underfur. The amount of hair can make a difference as well, try to only stack the hair that is needed for the fly.

I was having the same problem when I got back into tying until I realized that I was trying to put too much hair in the stacker. Everyone is right about the underfur also, all it takes is just a little fuzz, and it will hold the hairs and not let the tips even up.

Take Care,

After giving it a few good taps give it a few soft taps to finish this will keep the hairs from jumping.
