synthetic fiber feather duster

hi i was just wondering what kind of fly could you make with a synthetic fiber feather duster. any thing would help me out. thanks davidm

You can use these fibers in place of bucktail in Clousers, Thunder creek patterns, etc. as backs and tails on flies in a pattern like a Gill Getter (calls for moose mane). The action will be somewhat different, but the flies will still catch fish. Essentially it can be used in place of any non-flaring hair.

They are great for saltwater streamer type patterns. I've been using these synthetic fibres for a while now.
