letumgo 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 Here is one the color of an earthworm. Here is one with a variegated wormbody: Bugly = Butt Ugly Worm (it may be butt ugly, but I'm confident it will catch fish).
dwiltshire 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 Loving this Ray This could work as a buzzer pattern fished static or a mini-lure. An allrounder I reckon- so in my box they will appear. Thanks for another pattern to persuade me back to the vice...

letumgo 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2008 I love it! Would you consider posting a step by step? snboggs - Here is the step-by-step you asked for. Hopefully you can open MS word files. If I get a chance later this week, I will convert it over to Adobe PDF file format which is more universal. Have fun. Detailed Tying Instructions for the Bugly Worm: Bugly_Worm.doc EDIT (Note the file is in MS Word 2003 format for the PC) If you do not have MS Word installed on your PC, you probably can not open the tying instructions. Soft-hackle 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2008 Nice tying, Ray. These flies will definitely knock'em dead. Mark PS-Don't see why they wouldn't work for trout, too.
