I've read the Forum on every toppic about wings.

 

But i can't find the answer on how to make relaaistic wings.

 

what do u think is the best way to make them?

Paul Whillock, a master of the realistic fly, tapes a sheet of clear raffene over a life-size print of the wing being imitated. He then uses varnish or superglue to glue porcupine quill, stripped cock hackle, etc to create the major veins.

this was what i was looking for. I tought of using this methode but did not know there was already someone that was doing this.

 

I wil sertenly try, looks like really realistic.

 

Nice to help each other and a forum like this is irreplecable.

I cant seem to download the templates that Graham mentions, can anyone please supply any templates for me? after mayfly, dragonfly and cranefly.
