do a search for bluegill flies in the fly pattern database on this site and you should have enough ideas to tie all summer long

I tie a fly on a size 12 curved nymph hook. Tail is black bird fur. body is black chrystal dubbing, black collar hackle, and small siver bead chain. When i feel like using my 3 weight, this is all that i use.

Plastic eyes, I tie this in several colors, and they do last a long time if you can keep the bass off of them.

As of yesterday, it is the foam-loop Hex emerger I just posted in the pattern database!! We could not get a bluegill on any "normal" bluegill type fly. They were focused totally on the mayfly hatch.
