Looks pretty close Fred. Maybe the tail a little less rounded. Can you post a top shot of it? I ask because that is the truly important angle on a sculpin since they always hug the bottom and that is the best angle to view the fat shovel-like head in to the skinny body

thanks nymph chucker, in the pic I had he was flarring his gills . I dont know if that came across or if it looks like I missed on the head.

flytyerboy95, thanks for the comment. The only photo I have has the sculpin is with his mouth open and his gills flared.So I tried to do that. I just didn't do it very well. Now that I look at it , I think if I had made the lower gill plates much lighter it would have shown up better. Thanks for pointing that out . I knew something was wrong but couldn't see it.
