flykid 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 I went to see Rush in Milwaukee, WI at summerfest. Great concert! You've probably heard me mention it (I'm sorry I made such a big deal BTW) but they're my favorite band so I was REALLY EXCITED!!!!!! Theres good acts coming nearby. Neil Diamond, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, The Grass Roots, 3 Dog Night. The only problem is tickets are so expensive now, especially for Neil.
Zach Bearden 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 Seeing: Apocalyptica and Seether!!! Seen: Underoath and Ill Patriot! My band teacher is rather mad at me though.... lol I'm missing two rehearsals for Apocalyptica and Seether. Then in September I'm going to Colorado for The America Cup and we don't have anyone to replace me.... xP
flytire 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 The only problem is tickets are so expensive now, especially for Neil. tell me about it! the eagles at one of the casinos is $165, $225 and $
Zach Bearden 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2008 O_o Thats insane..... I'm only paying on average 25$ to go to a show.
flykid 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2008 WOW!!! The eagles are even more than Neil Diamond! My concert was $50 per ticket for me and my dad (after they add all the nonsense fees) and we were almost at the back of the amphitheater. We still had a pretty good view though. The older musicians are really pricey! But it is definately worth seeing them. Zach, good ole band causing problems eh?

flykid 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2008 You said your band teacher is getting frustrated with you going to concerts. Tell your teacher you'll learn the songs from the concerts on your instrument. Maybe he'll be happier about your concert going!

Hardyhead 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 I went to all the Summerfest nights, although I did not go to the main events, so I missed the really big acts. But I saw Rusted Root, the Flobots, a bunch of other good bands on the free stages. I only live a mile or so from the Summerfest grounds, so it's easy for me to get there, and the music on most nights is fantastic. That, and the beer is good too.
