I need to stop opening each of your posts Andrew...Every time I open up one of your posts and see these beautiful macro shots, I get one "nudge" closer to buying a new macro lens for my camera. Absolutely beautiful photos, as I expected.

 

PS - The bottom photo of the raccoon reminds me of the scene in the movie Elf. The one where Buddy gives a hug to the angry raccoon. "Aweeee...somebody needs a huge...HISS!!!" :j_k: :D :hyst:

awesome shots btw and will add raccoons are nocturnal when there out in the day is a sign they have rabies so please be careful good luck and tight lines rhino................

Thanks for the encouraging words guys..

 

I dont think the raccoon was rabid, it was first light that morning when I saw him. But maybe...I had to use 1800 ISO..
