The Royal Family Swap

After reading John's article in Hatches on "The Royal Family," I was thinking how neat it would be to assemble a full set of these flies. There are 15 flies in total, so to get a full set you'd need to send in 14. (Who wants to tie 14 MOM style snelled flies?!)

 

So, if we can fill it up, grab a pattern and let's do it! Since some of these patterns are a pain to master, I'm thinking of a due date out there a ways. Maybe just before Thanksgiving... or if it's easier to deal with after Christmas and FTOTY, we could even go to a January due date. Just let me know with an "I'm in, pattern and preference of due date"

Since the point of this swap is to get a complete set of the "Royal Family," it is important to not join unless you're committed to completing the swap!

Sounds like a lot of fun. I thought along these same lines when I saw the article. I will do the Royal Coachman Parachute #14.

Dezod and Houndog, I've got you added, thanks for joining. ibrb, as a site rule, you typically have to have 25 posts before joining a swap. My view on this is that it's done to build a sense of community. We'll leave this up to all of the other participants if they feel comfortable having a new guy in the swap.
