Isonychia 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2008 Hat, All of your recent entries are feasts for the eyes. They'd be just as appropriate for the Classic Wet Fly Forum as they are for this one! John
Ron Eagle Elk 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2008 Very nice dressing. Sparse flies are my favorite. What hook did you use on the fly pictured? Thanks for sharing that one. REE
Old Hat 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2008 The hook is a Knapek Wet Fly hook in a #16. These are very strong and extremely sharp barbless hooks. They are my new favorite wet fly hook. They have a longer point to them as you can see so proportionally the body looks longer than the traditional body that stops directly above the point.
