utyer 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2010 Some hair hackles, then a few wets I have been tying a lot more wet flies lately, trying to get them right. Finally a larger MOM pattern, my first one of these.
richyrichtherich 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2010 Thought it would be good to get some honest feedback on my ideas, after tying for my second year. I am able to tie good enough classic patterns to catch fish, and now am concentrating my efforts on coming up with something new that will stand the test of time. Mr. Vegas 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2010 Ran out of surf perching flies on my last outing, so I've been tying up a couple dozen of these bad boys on my work breaks the past couple days. Nothing artistic or especially difficult to tie, but is absolutely deadly on the surf perch and other interested fishies out here on the Left Coast. Known as the "Surf Perch Special" or "SPS" . tight lines- BV can you add this to the database?

Horseshoes 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2011 Trying out some new forms for larvae etc. Here are the first couple tries. Now that I know that the process is possible, it will just be refining it to resemble certain types. Do you think I am heading in the right direction on this style? .
