Kevan J. Evans 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 Whats with the rubberband on the 720? that was my bad for to reasons, first I thought that it had an o ring [ whitch it don't] and second for putting put a picture of that fly. That is pretty much the only one I've ever tied, kinda funny--- the stupidity of bring the vice home and thinking I lost the o ring, wene there is none needed, this was where I needed someone to talk to about the features & function. now I've shown that I am not as perfect as my tools
Kevan J. Evans 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 Nice flies Kevin, interesting consept on the bugger-n-baitfish one.... it just made sense, I was trying to find a way to piss fish off --- you know big fish eat's little fish, sort of thing. the way i figuerd it is that if big fish see's little fish trying to eat little leach, that big fish is goimg to eat someone. it does catch fish & thats the fun

chrismartin 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 A purple darter prototype... it rides hook up, so it can be fished slowly, bouncing along the bottom. So far it has produced a bunch of monster late season Smallmouth (what I designed it for) and a few incidental Pike and Carp. I've been tying it with bigger eyes. The day I first tied it I was out of the larger eyes, hence the undersized eyes and oversize gob of glue. Any other thought?
