There's a serious amount of diversity among people's day jobs. I think its great that fly fishing and tying can bring so many different talents and backgrounds together.

I worked as an analyst for a southern investment banking firm, now I'm working on my MBA with a concentration in finance and spending as much of my free time with my 13 month old son.

For 25 or so years I've been working for DLA at the supply center in Philadelphia. For the last 10 years I've been an Account Manager, though my official title is Tailored Vendor Business Logistics Specialist. I work with my customers and vendor to make sure the military get food when they want it and where they want it. My first account was to support the troops in Guam. I did that for five years. Made several trips there and was able to sneak in some fly fishing after work on a few occasions. Last five years I've handled mainland Japan, Singapore and Diego Garcia. Again I've had the chance to travel to Japan and make one trip to Singapore. I'm looking to retire in about 5 years. I've occasionally tied flies for my local fly shop located outside of Philly in Media.

Firefighter/Paramedic...Never sold a fly, but got plenty of friends that willingly take them as experiments to exotic locales that I will never be able to swing, which is why I am considering winning the lottery...
