Onshore 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2004 28 June - Launched at Riders Cove with Red Clark at 4:30 AM to fish Pleasant Bay. Went outside the Chatham Breach first thing but could find no fish nor bait along the beach to the north or inside, around the bars. Made several drifts in front of the lighthouse and long the ripwrap in the harbor. Ran up to Strongs Island, making a couple drifts along the way on the back side of Nauset. We finally found the fish at Strongs and each took a half dozen Stripers to 32” and a couple small bluefish. Red fished an orange Squidfly and I was fishing a 5” Yellow Clouser. Ended up with breakfast at the Hole in One at 10 AM and a visit with Tony Stetzko. A good day on Pleasant Bay Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
