Phoebe Fly?

hmmm, the only thing i know that is a "phoebe" is a spinner (not a fly). I'll try to dig up some info.

I've checked all of the salmon fly books I have, and several salmon fly web sites and haven't found anything. I did find several references in articles on the web, but nothing descriptive. You got me stumped. mad.gif dunno.gif

I knew of the spinners as well, but there seems to be a fly. A customer came into our shop looking for some. I'm bad about letting things like this go without an answer. Thanks

Well, it looks like you stumped Bryant Freman too. He has never heard of it either and suggests that it is probably a "local" pattern. Sorry I couldn't help, if you ever do find out what it is, let me have the recipe (and a pic if possible) for my pattern collection.
