It would seem that the name of the barber and the location of the pattern's name is in agreement and only the pattern originator is in question. But no matter, either way the stories of the fly are interesting and the pattern itself is very lovely. And the fly is certainly made a bit more interesting by knowing something of the history of the pattern.

Agreed. But it does sound like Borisa is the originator, from Rosborough's article anyway, and that Pray named it.
