lytle 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2009 easy to tie: blue Gill bug. fairly simple to tie. used to get the big blue gills at a small pond i fished in texas. trout: Wooly buggers. another fairly easy to tie pattern Bass: Ugly Fry...My Version of the thunder creek minnow. seems that the Uglier the tie the more productive the fly.
