letumgo 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2009 Beautiful tube fly, Frank. I have a couple of the BEP feathers left, so I'll have to give this a try. I'm curious about your hook point-up orientation. When I've fished plastic tubes, I found that the weight of the hook point tends to rotate the fly and ride point down. Does the materials placement cause this pattern to ride hook-point up? Frank G. Swarner III 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2009 I'll have to check that out Ray. The Crayfish tube I posted doesn't roll over so I assumed it will do the same with this one. I'll check the next time i'm out for stockies!! Thanks for the heads up!!
Frank G. Swarner III 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2009 Your right Ray.......don't know how I missed that. Wishful thinking I guess. Hook point is now down.
