Balmoral tube - mixed up

Recommended Posts

Beautiful tube fly, Frank. I have a couple of the BEP feathers left, so I'll have to give this a try.

I'm curious about your hook point-up orientation. When I've fished plastic tubes, I found that the weight of the hook point tends to rotate the fly and ride point down. Does the materials placement cause this pattern to ride hook-point up?

I'll have to check that out Ray. The Crayfish tube I posted doesn't roll over so I assumed it will do the same with this one. I'll check the next time i'm out for stockies!!

Thanks for the heads up!!
