This happened a few years back, but yes we do own a few stupid criminals..

Trio admits burning boat

 

The three were charged after a pontoon boat was stolen from a village early July 3. Police allege the trio took the boat for a joyride, using it to do a break-in at an Island home, before making their way to another Island.

There, believing they were on shore (mainland), the teens torched the boat and later had to be rescued by a Search and Rescue helicopter after spending all night being eaten by mosquitos. The three also face charges of theft, property damage and break and enter in connection with the caper. :hyst: :hyst: :hyst:

 

Oh yes almost forgot... the boat belonged to a retired R.C.M.P. officer, one teen was the son of the local Crown Prosecuter and the second teen was the son of a town cop. The 3rd teen was just a @#^$%^ head.

Unfortunately they don't qualify for a Darwin Award That only goes to those really intelligent souls that remove themselves from the human gene pool through shear stupidity. If you are ever hear "Hey Yall watch this!!" or "Do you wanna see something cool!!" Just run and hide, sure enough some one is gonna do something stupid. :scared:
