G-Moal

Recommended Posts

G-moal, Stands for Grand mother of all leaches. This fly was designed by a friend of mine for salmon and steelhead. It is 7" long to give you an idea. It can be tied in many different color combinations. Let me know what you think.

Wow, 7" do you cast it with a broom :hyst: ? I like the color combination, those colors have been working well for me this year.

It would be smarter if I casted it with a broom but cast it with a 9' 8wt. I couldnt believe it, but this fly caught a 2.5 pound sockeye and I watched it eat it this year, so I know it works.

Thanks for the compliments. This is the only one I have tied and it took me an hour to tie. I will see what I can do about a step by step but I cant garentee it. Have a Hard time myself tying it.
