Landed this one after a hellava battle. My Woollie Bugger survived.

Dang, son! When ya take me fishin'... Well, I was hopin' you'd put me onto some fish I could handle! :rolleyes:

I didn't know you could fish with live bait on a fly rod! :D

 

 

I'm at least jealous you could get out. we still have ICE here.... for the most part...

Checked the water temp yesterday and it was 52 degrees on the Duck River here in middle Tn. Air temp was 72. :)

Caught this little guy shortly after that viscious attack earlier. Caught it on a Parachute Adams I had just tied.

Looks like the perfect cure for cabin fever. Hopefully I can make it out to the Smokies this weekend.

Hi Tom, In the last 14 days here we have had almost 11 feet of snow at the upper altitudes, about 30 inches at the house, thank goodness the grass is covered, cause mowing really cuts into my fishing time.
