Sparkle Yarn Skein Sources

Recommended Posts

I am tired of buying small cartons of yarn, I would like to buy a couple of Skeins.

What are you using and where are you getting it?

What you find in fly shops as sparkle yarn is Aunt Lydias Sparkle yarn. Look in craft shops, yarn stores, or google it. In the past it's been under a dollar for a full skein. I loaded up years ago but I know it's still available.

I know at one time people thought this was an antron fiber, (Aunt Lydias) but then I read that a different yarn was eventually substituted. Is this stuff still an antron fiber? I don't know about anyone else, but I have had a devil of a time finding bulk antron, and I really like that stuff for the sparkle and "bling". Anyone have any current brands?

Thx,

Thats what I am wondering, people keep telling me you can find it in bulk, but I have looked and found nothing. I would like to know of some brands as well!

Try Caron.com. They don't have many colors but you can see what they offer.
