letumgo 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 Cole - How long ago did you order the material from FTD? Sometimes it can take two to three weeks to get the materials, but is always worth the wait. Their materials are top notch, and very reasonably priced. If you ordered the material more than three weeks ago, you may want to send a friendly E-mail to the Mad Scientist asking about the status of the order. I exchanged E-mails with him recently for one of my orders to check on the status. Unfortunately my order went missing after he had shipped it (happens sometimes for some odd reason). Mad Scientist was quick to respond and set my order right. If you haven't already done so, make sure you sign up for his news letter. He periodically sends out unadvertised specials that have some terrific sales on his tying materials.
flykid 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 It really depends. They used to take forever, but now can be pretty fast. They can have stuff shipped within a week and sometimes two weeks. But you have to remember that it's a small business, and the guy does all the dying and material production himself. So shipping might also take longer if they're out of a color and need to dye more. Fortunately the guy does a great job of keeping people updated on shipping times and material shortages. I don't like waiting either but the materials are cheap enough, and good enough, where I can tolerate a little shipping setback. You should get your stuff soon though. Cole 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 S**t, I ordered 2 days ago. I figured that would give them plenty of shipping time to get here, I hope so.
lykos33 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 On most of my orders the mad scientist has been very prompt. On my last order, thru no fault of his own, I am in my 8th week of waiting. In all fairness to a very fair businessman, the fault lies with thieves at the USPS. The dungeon master has done all in his power to get my stuff to me and is now in process of shipping with tracking to find out where it is going missing. He has responded to my queries 4 times and sent the item out anew each time...like I said, the USPS is a bad joke imho...Normally within 1 to 2 weeks I have my goodies! letumgo 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 Cole - I doubt your going to get the materials before your trip. Keep in mind that he normally ships by regular post (no delivery confirmation & no insurance). This keeps shipping cost to a minimum, but hurts him in terms of lost shipments when they happen. I recommend allowing two weeks to get the materials. If they arrive sooner, bonus. If not, then check on the status of the order.

Harold Ray 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 The Dungeon has been good as long as I have used them and they are continually improving, in my opinion, in goods and services. I enjoy the e-mails and specials , and I have a great time knowing the Mad Scientist and Igor are on the job! Ray
