Mice 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 Thank you. Ray, There are no problems with tying this fly.First we tie the wings. I take 2-3 good cdc feathers for each wing. I cut tips with quill. The wings are tied by putting the cdc ends in front of hook eye. We set it vertically and tie it with thread between th wings. Next we tie the tail made of hackle fibers and mallard fibers. We tie the rib made from silk or thick thread. I make dubbing in the loop of the thread. We tie hackle from behind and in front of the wings. Last goes a hackle from patridge.
