What is really strange is doing a few of these and then switching up to a streamer. I found it to hard to switch the other way. I'll decide which works better. I have a size 26 ordered but :hyst: who am I kiddin other than myself on that one. rich5665 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2009 Cool, looks like everyone is on track. I'm just waiting for some materials and my hooks to arrive. Tried tying a test fly the other night and wound up putting the hook through my thumb. DOH!! :wallbash: Thank goodness it was barbless. Definetly need stronger glasses 1.5x Magnification isn't cutting it anymore, time to move upto 2.5x. Got the tails done for the the flies last night and tied up three, never realized Polar Dubbing was going to be so challenging to work with My first attempt was with a dubbing hook, I quickly realized that I was putting to much dubbing on.
