Greetings from a small town in Texas

Actually, just OUTSIDE a small town in Texas! Tomball, TX is about 3 miles up the road. The name is Charlie, and I'm a retired Navy radioman. I've been flyfishing since the mid-70's, but just started tying a few months ago. I fish mainly freshwater (stock tanks around the house, and rivers/lakes I can travel to), but sometimes go to the coast (mainly San Luis Pass area of Galveston Island. Also, less than a year ago, I finally bought a decent rod/reel - switched from a Shakespeare rod to an Albright with a Bugati reel. It's now SO much easier on my arm! :yahoo:

Stock tanks????

 

Didn't know they had fish in them. When I think of a stock tank, I think of something about ten feet in diameter. Apparently I'm not up on my stock tanks. :dunno:

love you Texans...my Granddad was born and raised in East Texas..Bonham...love Texas....fished the Guadalaupe when I was a child...huge bluegills....will never forget that trip
