Incidentally, rather than being Drakes, I believe your mayfly photos to be of Hexagenia, likely H. limbata. Although Ephemera are in the same family, they would have (3) tails in their winged life stages, whereas Hexagenia have only (2). Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Oregon Trout 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2009 There really pretty. haha Mayflies here in the last few weeks I have found 5 or 6 Mayflies in the sink of my bathroom but they have only been in the winged stage and I'm not sure where they have been coming from.
