Hey, Jan. I've really enjoyed chit-chatting with you here on FTF for the past few

months. I hope one day...somehow...we can actually meet and do some fishing

together. :yahoo: Speaking of fishing...how was your trip?

Happy Birthday, buddy! Hope you have a great one.

Gage, I'm sure I'll log on Monday and be able to wish you one too... Just in case,

Happy Birthday!

Mike

Happy Birthday Jan,

You are still young with many years and memories to create over the years. Have a good one and enjoy fishing and tying for a very long time.

Best wishes

Jamie

Thanks alot, Ian. By the way, how'd the fly work for you? Catch some big meaty tadpoles?

Jan,

You wouldn't believe it so I'll tell you anyways. I got a nice size tadpole then a large bull frog grabbed it. Wow what a fight on a 1wt rod, then a 5 lb smallmouth came out of no where and ate the bull frog. It took me an hour and a half to get the small mouth close; when it was within 3 feet of being landed a 20lb pike came and swallowed the bass like it was a small snack. After fighting the 20 lb pike on a 1wt for 30 min my line snapped and I missed a chance to get any pictures. I'll try the pattern again and see what happens the next time.
