Dart 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2009 The fish took a black-and-silver Rapala Shad Rap crankbait that Healy cast from fishing guide Tim Roller’s boat. Healy used a Cabela’s XML spinning rod and Cabela’s Prodigy reel loaded with 30-pound braided line. Would have been a hell of a fight on an 8 weight. I got to believe that in the next 10 years that the record will fall again to another lake Michigan fish. so even thought I feel like it should have been released its not the only one there are more out there. probably more than most of us think....
